Adding a new event has a useless first display

When you click to add a new event, there is a useless popup that comes up to enter the event. I say useless because you still have to click to view the whole page event setup. This is because the first popup never has enough or correct info. It knows the date of the event but does a lousy job of "guessing" the time (how could it know the time) and cannot schedule resources. Don't make us stop at the intermediate popup...just open the event scheduling screen.

You're not the only one (although the popup has a much better chance of being useful in Week view). For example, see here.

For us, adding building and room reservations is so common that even the week one doesn't help. Although you are correct, it at least gives a better time.
