MLS Error - java.lang.NullPointerException

#1

Post by marranzino »

:)  :( :p ;) :D :o

ENGLISH
Good afternoon. I have the following problem and do not know how to fix it:

When I try to log in MLS opens a window with the following error message:

"The following fatal error is generated when trying to login:

java.lang.NullPointerException

This is a serious problem that will not let you connect until it is resolved "

The last backup took place on December 18, 2012, and the error came less than two weeks ago, so I do not want to lose the data and information that was loaded.

SPANISH
Buenas tardes.

You might try downloading MLS and installing it on top. That sometimes fixes odd things.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

So we can better help you, please edit your Profile to include your general location.

In that case, I'd suggest contacting your area office it see what help they can provide.

PM me your unit number. I will grep through some log files and see if I can tell why this is happening to your unit.

Have you tried to install MLS using the installer downloaded from the Help Center on top of the current installation. Sometimes files become corrupt. The over-the-top installation will replace those corrupt or missing files.

Have you tried finding your answer on the ChurchofJesusChrist.org Help Center or Tech Wiki?
