Stack 3.4.1 Released

#1

Post by LundJR »

Java Stack team is pleased to announce the release of Stack 3.4.1. This release includes the following enhancements:

* The cglib changes for Spring 3.2 were back ported to work with the ICS Legacy Stack (2.0 and prior). This means that projects using stack-legacy-core can now upgrade to this latest Stack version.
* STACK-4243 Flash scope was deprecated and Spring redirect attributes are the recommended replacements.
* STACK-4655 Upgraded to latest Cloud Foundry Maven plug-in in Stack Starter templates
* STACK-4622 Provided support for Maven 3.1.x
* STACK-4653 Added an Overall Status to the Canary Page in stack-system.
* STACK-4458 Update tcat deployment process to delete the work directory on redeploy
* OPENWEB-299 Added provisional support compiling and reloading Open Web Stack frontend components while the Java Stack backend is deployed. This provides a consistent save-refresh cycle with frontend components, even integration with LiveReload, if needed.
* STACK-4607 Improved the cross-site request forgery double-submit to make it harder for an adversary to forge an authenticated request.

Library Upgrades:
* TestNG 6.8.7
* Selenium WebDriver 2.37.1

We also finished moving all of our stack modules from Subversion to our internal Git repository.

For upgrade information please refer to our upgrade notes.

NOTES:
Possible ehcache collisions exist for projects that may contain direct or indirect transitive dependencies. Projects need to insure that the final result of ehcache in their artifacts are set at 2.6.6 and not 2.7.x for best results.

If you have any questions contact a member of the team.
