Java Stack 3.2.1 Released!

#1

Post by YoungstromMJ »

The Java Stack team is pleased to announce the release of Stack 3.2.1. This release is the culmination of almost 2 months of bug fixes and minor enhancements based on feedback from Stack 3.2. The more notable enhancements are:
  • Library Upgrades:
    • Marklogic XCC 5.0.1
    • Hibernate 4.1.2
    • Selenium 2.21
    • EhCache 2.5.3
    • CXF 2.5.3
    • Jackson 1.9.7
    • TestNG 6.5.2
    • Hibernate Validator 4.3
  • Functionality was added to support a unified “purge” operation through JMX for UCP and Tomcat JDBC Pool.
  • Test Runner will no longer place logs and other files in the user home directory. It will now place them in the target directory if run in a maven project.
  • Added support for a new “?logheaders” request parameter that will log all Http headers to the application log. This can come in handy when debugging WAM integration issues. (Documentation)
  • A number of tweaks and improvements to our starter templates based on feedback from project upgrades.
Full release notes can be found in our Jira Project.

It is recommended that all projects upgrade to avoid running into issues already fixed. The upgrade notes for this release are very small so the effort should be minimal. Simply change the version of stack-master to “3.2.1” and review the one upgrade note.

Feel free to contact a member of the Stack team if you have any questions.
