My phone number was changed, but not by me.
I received a notice that someone changed my phone number. My number on my LDS account is still {number removed - this is a public forum}. Nobody had the right to change my number.

I'm not sure about the number on the account, but the ward can update your contact information.
But then, we've seen a number of messages like yours about a change that doesn't seem to have changed anything.

Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.
