phone # attached to different account

I've had my phone # for about 2 years but am just getting around to updating it on lds.org. I keep getting a notice that it is attached to a different account. I tried to recover it but it said that account wasn's available to recover my number. No one else in my family has an account that I would have shared this number with. Not sure what to do.
