Contact Settings updates denied

Post by tylersn »

Hi -
When I try to update my 'Contact Settings,' the page will not save with updated information. Has anyone else had this issue and found a resolution?

Where are you trying to change the settings?
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

So we can better help you, please edit your Profile to include your general location.

Under "Account Settings," Contact Settings," & changing the visibility allowance.

Visibility is best set from the directory. There's also a "household" setting. You can't grant higher visibility than what's set for the household. The directory allows you to see (and set) both.

For example, if the household is "Ward" you can't set your own visibility to "Stake". Only "Ward" or "Leadership only".

Awesome, thank you! - This information should probably be posted on the "Account Settings" page, also. Thank you again!
