Registering son

I'm trying to register my 12-year old son on lds.org. I input the information, and it prompts me to get parent consent authorization. It sends me a code to input to give consent authorization, but when I enter the code in the appropriate place it says that it is an invalid authorization code. What am I doing wrong?
