New Phone Number Linked to Different Account

Church Account is the primary user account (user name and password) for accessing online Church resources. Church Account was formerly known as LDS Account. New Phone Number Linked to Different Account

I got a new cell number and apparently it was linked to the previous number owner's LDS account. In other words, who ever had my cell number before me was LDS and used it with their account, but they haven't updated their profile to de-link this number from their account. How can I de-link it from their's so it can be on mine?

Ask your ward clerk to contact the Global Service Center on your behalf. They should be able to fix it.
