Donations History shows nothing for me

Post by fuldrich »

I went to check my donations history, and it shows nothing for me. Apparently it's listed only under my husband's account. Since we are both doing the donating, shoudn't our accounts be linked for this application?

Donations are linked to a single membership record. But there are things you and your husband can do so that they are closer to joint donations. There are two settings in the online donation tool which can help. Both of these are found by going to the donations tool (https://lds.org/donations) and selecting Settings on the left.

The first setting is 'Display spouse name'. When this is selected both spouses names will be printed on donation statements printed either from the online tool or by a ward clerk. Your husband needs to set this setting for your name to show on his donations statements and likewise you need to set it for his name to show on your donation statements.

The second setting is 'Allow spouse to view my donations'. When this is selected the spouse will see both their own donations and their spouses donations in the online donation history. If you print a donation statement it will automatically print two statements, one for each spouse. Your husband would have to set this on his account for you to see his donations and likewise you would have to set it on your account for him to see yours.
