Two Accounts?

Church Account is the primary user account (user name and password) for accessing online Church resources. Church Account was formerly known as LDS Account. This forum is a space to discuss all things related to Church Accounts (registration, account recovery, user experience, vulnerabilities, etc.).

Two Accounts?

It won't let me add my Membership Record Number to my account because it says I already have an account attached to it. However, I have no recollection of making this other account, so I can't access it or anything. But now I can't update the account I use.

It was probably created for something like FamilySearch. You can find by going to the login page and clicking on "Forgot Username" and then use the MRN option for recovering the name of the other account.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.
