LDS Account needs a valid email address

I received an email stating that someone made changes to my email and that if myself or the ward clerk didn't do it I needed to contact lds.org. That seems to be impossible. I can't access my donations, I have tried to change my password or anything else I can think of but it just keeps telling me I need a valid email address. I checked my personal information and everything seems to be in order. I don't understand what happened to my account or how to fix it.

I have the same, as well as my cell phone number.
Neither my ward clerk nor I changed something.

Log in to ldsaccount.lds.org and make sure your email address is located under "Contact Settings". If you cannot log in there, use the "Forgot username" or "Forgot password" links to proceed.

There seems to be a bug in the system. I'm the ward clerk in my ward and I changed the setting apart status of several members last week and all/some of their email addresses were removed from their accounts. One member called me and said he and his wife got emails from the church indicating that their email address had been changed. When I looked at their account and others, the email addresses had been removed. My membership clerk had also noticed a similar problem.

Please use the feedback link found on most LDS.org pages to let them know of your experience. They may or may not be aware that a recent programming change, or some other change, has resulted in this problem.

Thanks for pointing this out. We'll release the fix as soon as we can after general conference.
