MRN\birthdate

So I made my LDS account through my family history app and before I finished it asked if I am a member of the LDS Church and answered yes but I didn't know my MRN at the time and said that I would put it in later. So I went in later to put it in and when I did it said that the MRN and the birthdate didn't match and it's been telling me that for a year now. So I need to know if my information has been mixed up or what at LDS headquarters. And yes I have talked to my ward clerk and he just keeps handing me a sheet of paper with my MRN on it. :|

I assume he has given you what is called the Individual Ordinance Summary which should list your MRN and birth date. Assuming you are using the same information as is listed on the IOS (make sure it lists your birthdate correctly though) then most likely you previously created another account and didn't realize it. There are several church sites that all use LDS Account but it isn't always obvious.

On the login screen use the 'Forgot your username' link and then select the option to recover using your MRN. If you have another account it should give you the other account name and give you the option to recover/change the password for that account. You'll need to use that account in order to have access to information only provided to church members.

If that link doesn't find an existing account then you'll need to ask your ward clerk to call the Global Service Center on your behalf and ask them to figure out why it won't accept your MRN and birthdate.
