How can a LDS Account be deleted?

Church Account is the primary user account (user name and password) for accessing online Church resources. Church Account was formerly known as LDS Account. This forum is a space to discuss all things related to Church Accounts (registration, account recovery, user experience, vulnerabilities, etc.).

How can a LDS Account be deleted?

I am a Senior Missionary who helped a elderly sister get a copy of her Patriarchal blessing. Together, we registered her for an LDS Account, and we received a copy of the blessing. Now, the sister wants to delete her account, she is fearful of having her information on a computer. She did not express these concerns beforehand.
How can her account be deleted?

Have her work through her ward clerk. He can contact the global service center on her behalf to have it deleted.
