Clearly you got into here, so there's some use. You might want to go to ldsaccount.lds.org and see if you're set up properly. If you don't have a MRN, then you're considered a non-member and your activities will be highly limited: You'll have FamilySearch and scripture notes. I think that's about it. No access to directory, calendar, LCR, etc.

Also, if your membership records aren't in your ward you also won't have access. If your MRN is correct on ldsaccount.lds.org and you still can't access the ward tools then check with your clerk to make sure they have your records.

True. If your records are in the "address unknown" file, I'd think your functionality would be pretty close to being a non-member.

my councilor can not get into any of her tools. we checked her account and the MRN is missing and it will not let us add the number. It said it does not match the birthday or it is to another account. She can open her account on her but it will not give her access to any thing.. hoe can we get the MRN in to her account?

I'd work with your ward clerk. It's possible she has an account with her MRN that she's forgotten about.

For a situation where the user may have more than one LDS Account, that user can use the "Forgot user name ..." link at the LDS Account sign on page. Then select the user MRN as the method to recover the username and then the password.

Im sorry but we have tried with technology person in our ward, ward clerk, and executive secretary. Her membership number is correct and her birthdate. Where do we go from here?
Thank you,
Tamera

Contact your stake clerk or technology specialist, who will put you in touch with the Global Service Center if he is not able to solve the problem.

Most likely, there is a duplicate LDS Account already associated with the MRN. If this is the case, recover the login credentials from ldsaccount.lds.org. If this option isn't available, contact your ward clerk; he can call the Global Service Center and connect you with Account Management. We, Account Management, can then troubleshoot the problem. Please note, the Global Service Center is primarily for church employees. For Account Management to troubleshoot your problem, the ward clerk will need to be on the line with you.

If you are already using an LDS Account for other sites, you can go ahead and stop registering for the account and just log in with the same LDS Account credentials (e.g. a user has a familysearch.org account and wants to create a profile for LDS jobs; they don't need to register for an account at ldsjobs.org; rather, they can sign in with their familysearch.org account [because it's the same credentials: LDS Account]).
