Non-member with a calling

My ward has a non-LDS woman called as the ward bulletin editor. Her father is a member of our ward, but she lives in another ward, and her husband has not given consent for her to be baptized. Is there any way she can create an LDS Account, and be given basic access to our ward directory, calendar, etc?

She can certainly create an LDS account but there isn't any way to give her access to the unit specific tools. And there is no longer any way to list her in the calling. When calling management was moved to LCR that ability was removed and then shortly after the ability to create non-member records in MLS was removed. Privacy reasons were cited.

The Bishop should contact Local Unit Support for help with this type of question.

Are there some options that can be extended, or would he be told "no can do"?

On my team, we don't work with LCR or MLS, so we are not too familiar of the policies on that sight. It is worth a call to the Local Unit Support team to find out.

There are options to enable partial access, but to what extent is dependent on individual circumstances, and determined by Local Unit Support. The Bishop should discuss the situation with Local Unit Support.
