It not is possible to register new accounts. The system returns the message:
"404 Not Found: Requested route ('ldsaccount-classic.lds.org') does not exist."
Please, help us.

A couple of questions:
  • First, how are you getting to the LDS Account page? Are you going directly to ldsaccount.lds.org in your browser's address bar? Or are you going to LDS.org, clicking on My Account and Ward, then clicking on the Sign In button, and finally clicking on Register for an LDS Account? Or something else?
  • At what point do you get the 404 error message? What page were you on and what link did you click? From the message you reported, it looks like you are hitting an outdated URL (web address).
  • I was able to get well into the registration process with no errors, but of course the system recognized that I already had an account and so I couldn't proceed past that point. Are you helping someone new to register or doing this for yourself?

I am also having difficulty but I am receiving a 403 for POST https://ldsaccount.lds.org/findByMrnAndBirthDate when I try and register. If I go to lds.org -> sign in -> register then enter MRN and birth date the Chrome console (F12) displays an angular.js 403 (forbidden) error for the POST.

My wife has been giving a family search presentation to a group of 13 beehives. I have also been having trouble using the forgot username tool as well. I didn't check the error but i'm having the problem on both Chrome and IE in both regular and private browsing mode. I've had the problem on several Windows 8 laptops and one macbook (chrome and safari). I was however able to use the forgot username and forgot password tools if I use the links from familysearch.org which has a slightly different form - but that one is working.

My daughter registered her new lds account two days ago with no issues. If you are still having issues, you should contact support. Click Help at the top right of the registration screens to get started. The actual support contact form is buried pretty deep, but just keep clicking the links and you will eventually get there.

Registering for LDS Accounts can be done by going to ldsaccount.lds.org before trying to access different sites. Please do not use the support forms unless you have followed the steps on the site. Please follow the steps below to create an LDS Account to be able to log in to the site(s) you desire.
1. Go to ldsaccount.lds.org.
2. On the right side of the screen click on “Create an Account.”
3. Complete the LDS Account registration process. Don’t forget to verify your e-mail address (note, verification of the LDS Account may already be confirmed without the verification code; however, using the code for account validation is still preferred and will complete registration).
4. Once the account is created, return to the site you are trying to access and select the 'sign in' feature.
