Changing language on my ward web site.

When I originally set up an LDS account, I inadvertently clicked on Portuguese for language preference. I cannot change it, even though I've gone to my profile and clicked on English repeatedly. I've even clicked on English on the sign in page for the Wards and Stakes web site. Both places indicate English; however, when my ward website opens, all the menus are in Portugues, so I cannot navigate to any other ward directory. HELP! I need to find some addresses for some cousins asap. I need to mail something to them.

It sounds like you are talking about the Classic Ward and Stake Websites. If that's correct, the way you change your language is by clicking the Update Profile link in the upper right corner. On the "Update Profile" page, the third section is labeled "Language" and you'll see there a dropdown list that includes Ward Default, English, Spanish, and Portuguese. Choose English (or probably Ward Default would work, too) and click Submit. Hopefully that will fix it for you.

Thank You

Because my LDS ward account page was in Portugues, it was difficult for me to navigate; however, with your suggestion, and with my knowledge of Spanish . . . I finally figured out what you were talking about and was able to navigate to the page you spoke of and figured out how to change the language on my ward web site. Thanks.
