In that profile, you can manage the restrictions on your device, which include access to safari, youtube, etc. I don't think you can turn off wifi and 3G with restrictions, but I know you can restrict access to applications. In the profile, you should also be able to specify at what times of the day the profile is enforced. Google iphone profiles and you should see a few tools that can help you create profiles. This should not require you to jailbreak the device. Profiles are commonly used in enterprise and educational applications.
This. You can have a trusted friend set a password that must be entered to allow the profile to be removed.

Its better to build more relationships in real life,so that you wont need the internet for social interaction.Try to spend some time in a day for friends and your family.

If you want them to avoid iPhone addiction then you must have some good apps installed such as educational apps. These could be addictive but in a learning way just like Astroloquiz. My girl started to play this and she really enjoys and at the same time she can learn new words.

If you are addicted to using the internet on your iPhone.....get rid of your iphone. Get rid of a phone completely and use google voice instead.

if you think installing a an app that you are in administrative control of on your phone will end your addiction you are fooling yourself. That's like trying to stop a pornography addiction by putting all your playboys in a box under your bed.

I wish I had never gotten this iphone. i was much happier when i didnt have one. i think it has completely Ruined my attention span its like i have a severe case of ADD now. never before. even when im not on my phone, i can no longer do things like- watch more than 5 mins of a tv show; listen to a whole church sermon; (that was a huge part of my life-) now my attention span is so awful, i literally cannot stand to watch/read/listen, to ANYTHING for more than 4-5 mins!! last week i went to the movies, i hadnt been in a while. it was a great movie, but after sitting there for only 8-9 mins, paid $10.00 movie ticket, drove to the theater, etc.- i was having like 'panic attacks' for no reason- i just COULD NOT make myself sit there any more! that is totally weird, i usually LIVE reading books, movies, etc. i just cant do that anymore & it saddens me. its like my brain cant stand to do any thing- if its more than 5mins, i have to get up walk away & find something else to do. its even affected my relationships- i used to call my family every week & have long talks- now i dont because i just cant stand talking/listening for more than 5 mins.
