There is one idea that I have heard from others when navigating the internet. If you want to get on the internet, but are affraid that you may get into inappropriate material or that you might be wasting to much time, follow the guidlines that church leaders have set, but along with that make sure that you have a definite task which you want to accomplish and when you are done get off. The idle mind is the devil's workshop; yes, it fits here to. It may also help to set a certain time limit to finish your online activity(s). I know that this may be something fairly old to many of you, but I have found it to be extremely helpful.

I have used that tactic a number of times--just a quick mental question "What am I trying to accomplish?" For me it has been fairly useful.

Install anti-virus software on your computer to help protect against viruses and malware and perform regular scans.Without a firewall,thieves have an open door into your computer.A firewall is like putting a padlock on that door.
