Does Gamps work on Mac? If it does, it's free-of-charge.

My guess is that, if not already dead, this project will be soon. Apple has decided to kill any type of java-cocoa based support including completely deprecating the java-objective c bridge.

According to the developer,
"Consider PAWriter to be a possible next step in the development of Macintosh PAF had its develpment not been discontinued---"

Chromebook
Crossover
PAF5

PAF5 looks fine when I start it. Then when I try to open a file or use any function in the menu bar all of the letters, except for the menu functions, are rectangular boxes. I tried going to preferences and changing fonts, and even they showed up correctly in the sample window, but all I get in any dialog screen is square boxes.
Has anyone seen this? Any solutions?
