Limit on names in drawer at temple

Postby chlest511 » Sat Nov 14, 2015 1:23 pm

I have been doing alot of Family History and have taken hundreds of names I feel the urgency of family history and I love doing the work for my family. I got a call yesterday from the Temple in Newport Beach that I can only have 25 names total in the drawer. As this was upsetting to me , for I have over 400 more names on my computer ready to be printed up. I don't know what I should do.. any answers would be appreciated.

thank You. Nelda Hastings chlest51@yahoo.com Anaheim CA Crescent Ward Cypress.

What do they mean by "in the drawer"? Is that names that have been taken through the temple by others but not picked up and returned to you?

One way to complete the work for more names is to ask members of your ward to help. If they know you have names, they may be willing to take them each time they go to the temple if they do not have names of their own to take.
