Printing Family Group Records

#1

Post by mbrinson »

I know this is way old, but I'm struggling to find updated information on how to print a family group record or a family group sheet (not sure what the distinction is between these two).
I've been searching the forums but my efforts have been in vain so far.

[Moderator note: I split this post from the topic newFamilySearch .99 beta, since it deals with a separate issue.]

At present there are no printing features built into FamilyTree. Your best bet is to synchronize your data with a third-party application (such as RootsMagic, AncestralQuest, or Legacy Family Tree, all of which have free versions) and use its printing capabilities to generate a Family Group Record (which is the same thing as a Family Group Sheet).

These forums aren't oriented towards Family History, so that's not surprising.
