Hi russellhltn,
Yes, I always work with my FM group, and Stake PFR and Stake Clerk in getting/requesting the necessary equipment. It is only way to do it. Great reminder to do it that way. I just works so much better.

Thank you Sam Bradshaw - that's the kind of answer I was looking for - that the church IS thinking about this!

Re: New Adult Curriculum / Meetinghouse Capabilities
There was a sign-up form sent to everyone on the "Gospel Library for Android" and "Gospel Library for iOS" LDSTech project discussion groups. The beta is being rolled out in stages, so they're not sending out the actual Google Play link publicly. But if you send an email to the support email, lml-android-support@ldsmail.net, they can send you a link either to the sign-up form or to the app on Google Play.carsonm wrote:I am very interested in the app "LDS Media Library" that's now in public beta. I looked on the google play store and could not find the app. Can the link be provided here?
The Church's mobile apps team doesn't have any hired developers for Windows mobile apps (or universal apps). A few Church apps (Gospel Library, LDS Tools, and Book of Mormon) have been developed for Windows by volunteers, but the Church has not put any significant resources into Windows mobile or universal development. Each of those semi-official apps are behind their Android and iOS counterparts in functionality, because of the volunteers' time limitations.carsonm wrote:Any hopes of having a Windows 10 universal app version of the LDS Media Library in the near future? That would be great to have.
Until we see the Windows apps being officially adopted as employee-developed apps, and Gospel Library and LDS Tools for Windows brought up to speed, I wouldn't expect to see an LDS Media Library app for Windows.

Unless the church saw the value in supporting laptops for this function and go beyond the "mobile only" mindset of GL and LDS Tools.sbradshaw wrote:Until we see the Windows apps being officially adopted as employee-developed apps, and Gospel Library and LDS Tools for Windows brought up to speed, I wouldn't expect to see an LDS Media Library app for Windows.
