Those Cisco WAPs support multiple SSIDs - could we please have one administrative/VIP SSID in addition to the general one? When we need to eliminate competition for bandwidth we could then shut off the general access one.

Have the permissions to toggle the building's wireless changed at all? I had a situation where a member of the stake presedency (in another stake) could get into TM, but was not presented with the ON/OFF buttons for his stake center.

Out of curiosity, is his stake the "owner" of that building? And of course the obvious question - did he know where to look?
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

It doesn't appear that that matters. We have a building that our stake has one ward in and we are not the owner, but I can still see the Enable/Disable buttons.

Yes, and yes. He was into TM where he could see the listing of AP's, but no big red or green boxes to toggle them off and on.

I thought a counselor in the stake presidency could do it, Did he see the Enable/Disable buttons on any of the other firewalls in his stake? There may have been a problem with just the one at the stake center.

As far as I know, he just tried the one firewall. The person setting up to run a test webcast from that building thought he was already an STS, until he tried accessing TM. That's why we had to get others involved.

The actual event was yesterday, and aside from a slight lip-sync problem on my end, everything went very well.

Permissions to enable/disable MH wireless through TM have not changed. For now the following positions have access to this feature on a Stake/Ward/District level: Presidency/Bishopric members, Clerk, Assistant Clerk (Tech Specialist), FM and FM Assistant.

These are the callings that allow you to turn on/off wireless in TM:

Stake/District Presidencies
Bishoprics
Branch Presidencies
Stake/District Clerks
Stake/District Technology Specialists (STS)
Facilities Managers

Also, if you have one of these callings and do not have the ability in TM, you need to make sure your calling is recorded by the clerk properly in LCR. https://www.lds.org/help/support/puttin ... y?lang=eng

Instructions for Disabling Wireless Access found here: https://www.lds.org/help/support/disabl ... s?lang=eng
