The reason I asked about what you meant was because I had to ask our FHC Director where he was getting on-line documents. After a bit of back-and-forth with him we determined that I as the STS could not get the on-line information he had. He therefore gave me his log-on information.
I agree that a lot of what is available in the FamilySearch library for FHC directors should be readily available to a stake technology specialist. In fact I think a lot of the documents there should be available to the general Church membership. Internet Use Policy is one of many documents that should be widely disseminated and not closely held by only publishing to a restricted web location.

post there stating that finding information and documents on lds.org and related web sites was more than a formidable task. The structure for FamilySearch.org has the same problems that lds.org has in regards to finding, and accessing, information.
