Restoration of Blessings records process

When a Stake President performs a Restoration of Blessings what is the process for restoring the ordinance information on the membership record?

My Stake Clerk thinks some action needs to be taken by the Ward Clerk (me).
I can't see any possible action on my part other than sending a "special request". But I don't really expect Headquarters to take my word for it.

I'm already familiar with the "Application to the First Presidency" that initiates the request, but I'd like to understand the process after the Stake President performs the restoration ordinance.

The stake president may only perform that ordinance with specific authorization from the First Presidency. The letter he will receive that contains that authorization will also explain exactly what needs to be done (and it doesn't involve a special request in MLS).

Alan is correct. When the stake president reports back to the Quorum of the Twelve that blessings have been restored, CHQ will automatically update the membership record and the unit will receive it without any special action required on the part of the unit.
