Perpetual education fund?

I have also been asked if there is a Perpetual Education Fund and if so, what is the proper way for a member to make a donation also. Thanks, again!

The generosity of Church members and others has led to sufficient levels of donated funds to the Perpetual Education Fund and the Temple Patron Assistance Fund. As a result, members are encouraged to select other categories for their ongoing donations. Because many members donate online, the Perpetual Education Fund and Temple Patron Assistance Fund categories have been removed from the online donation form. These categories will remain available for donations processed in wards and branches.

It is the same as with the Temple Patron Assistance Fund. A member will need to use the donation slip and envelope at Church and give the donation to a member of the bishopric.

I think in each case they need to write in the name of the fund on the Other part of the donation slip. I do not remember if it is still printed on the form.

I also think it would be wise to note the reminder Dana Repouille has posted from the First Presidency.
