If you were sealed to a spouse when your child was born, your child was born in the covenant and is sealed to you. You may wish to discuss your situation with your bishop or branch president, who will be able to verify that the information is recorded correctly on your membership record, and on the record of your child. He will also be able to help you with any other questions you may have, especially in view of the particular circumstances you described in your original post.
