Am I missing something? New called clerk here, and last quarter seemed to be very easy, this quarter seems to be just missing completely from existence on the website. 2016 in year selected, then 1st and 2nd quarter can be selected, what about 3rd? How am I to enter 3rd quarter numbers?

The Quarterly Report reports on the last month of the quarter (in this case, September). You won't be able to start filling out the report until September ends, because some things, like number of members in the ward, etc., are calculated on the last day of the month. The Q3 Quarterly Report should show up on October 1st.

You're welcome! It's good to start gathering all the information as soon as you can, especially since sometimes different auxiliaries take time to gather things like attendance or home teaching and submit them to you. The report is due by the 15th of the month after the quarter ends (in this case, October 15th). Some things, you won't be able to gather until the month is over (like home and visiting teaching, which can be going on up through the last day of the month). Other things, like attendance in Church meetings, can hypothetically be gathered as soon as the last Church meetings in the month are over.

I'm not sure who is telling you that and what they have in mind but this is a good time to remind the secretaries of each organization to submit their attendance figures to you and to remind the priesthood and relief society that you need the HT and VT numbers by the 10th. You have until the 15th to submit the report but it's best to make sure people remember now, especially since next week is general conference and people may not be thinking about it.
