There is a brother in my ward who shows as being Ordained a Seventy back in 1975. He tell's me that this was normal back then but wonders why his records still show him as Ordained a Seventy. He currently is a High Priest. Can you tell me if it is normal for him to still show as being Ordained a Seventy on his records?

Based on other reports (see this thread) if he was ordained as a Seventy that ordination should still show up on his record. If he has also been ordained as a High Priest then that should also show on his records. So if both show then it would seem everything is in order. If the High Priest ordination doesn't show then it wasn't recorded correctly and that needs to be corrected.
