Youth Limited use Temple Recommend scanning by wards?

Just was informed by our executive secretary that temples will be scanning the limited use recommends, and that wards will be the ones responsible for activation when they are given. has anyone else heard about this?

found this, it seems that bishops will be able to print them from LCR and once printed will be activated.

The limited-use recommends printing in Leader and Clerk Resources is being beta tested and isn't available to everyone yet.

I just received a new book of limited use recommends. This is the first time I've had a book of the ones that aren't ONLY group recommends. They have serial numbers on them, but no bar codes.

Cant wait for online printing of limited use recommends. Anyone know when they will release the new online recommends?
