Anyone with access to MLS can get the list of standard callings. The method I use is to go to Organiztions > Reports//Tools > Custom Positions Review and select the "Find nearest match" link for a non-standard position. This of course requires that there be at least one person with a non-standard position. You can temporarily create one if there are none. At the next pop-up dialog click the Show All button. You will then have all the standard positions displayed. With one position selected (focus needs to be on any calling in the list), copy the list to the clipboard by pressing Shift+Ctrl+C. You can then paste the contents of the clipboard into any program, such as Excel, for manipulation.

Do a "quick and dirty" conversion: Open jdlessley's PDF file, select all the text columns with your mouse, and "copy" to the clipboard, then paste into your blank excel (openoffice) document, (or text document, etc.,) and you have his list as an excel document... with a few tweaks needed.

I've attached it here, although I think an output from your ward's MLS using jdlessley's method to excel would be more useful, and more up-to-date!

Hello everybody....first of all thank you for the list of callings. Now my question...how can I get this list if the MLS isn not yet available in our country. I was just called as the branch president a while ago and this would come in real handy.

Thanks to all,

Davor

First of all, welcome to the Forum! We appreciate hearing questions from around the world.

If MLS is not available in your country, then your situation is obviously different from most people here on the forum. You've seen the lists posted in this thread, and you are welcome to use those lists in any way that is helpful.

But until MLS becomes available in your country, you won't be able to assign any of these standard callings to members of your branch (unless your district presidency has some way to do so that I'm not familiar with). For most branches, I would think that the number of members is small enough that it shouldn't be hard to keep track of those with callings in some other way, such as a spreadsheet or a document.

If I have misunderstood your question, please try to rephrase it so we can give you the help you need.
Questions that can benefit the larger community should be asked in a public forum, not a private message.

With the next release of the online MLS (currently I believe the beta version is better than the new version I gave) tools you will be able to begin managing the standard positions there. That will give you the standard list for a branch and allow you to assign people to those positions.

I apologize if this is addressed elsewhere, but I get an "Access Denied" on the link you put in the post. What positions have rights? I am an Assistant Ward Clerk over Membership with a standard calling and responsibilities to manage callings. Is this beta limited to Ward Clerk and not assistants?

I believe that currently it is only available to the Bishop, Ward Clerk and Ward Executive Secretary at the ward level. Similar at the stake level.
