My stake president received an email with instructions to forward as an email broadcast to the entire stake. The new Directory feature does not have a way to send emails at all, much less send a broadcast email to the entire stake. The best we can do is copy and paste email addresses from each group of adults for each ward in the stake into a personal email and send from there. The last time I tried to do that my email service provider started threatening to shut me down because it looked like I was spamming.
Does anyone know if there is a way to send an email broadcast to the entire stake? We used to be able to do so from the old Units system but I have not seen a way to do so since moving to the new Directory system.

I believe that the stake president and stake clerk should have an option to email to all adult members of the stake using the Send a Message button in Leader and Clerk Resources. However, because of the way in which the CHQ server sends these messages there are some ISPs that will reject the message as spam. In addition it will only send to those who have their privacy settings set to Stake Visibility. But as far as I know it's the best option for sending a message to the entire stake.
I'm pretty also that this option will not show up for anyone other than the stake president and clerk. I don't think it's available for assistant stake clerks or councilors.
