Just wondering when the Clerks are going to have the ability to do what MLS allows us to do? It was my understanding that we would have it at the first of the year. I haven't seen it yet.

First of all, Leader and Clerk Resources on LDS.org won't have everything that MLS can do for at least a year more, and probably longer than that. No one has ever said anything different.

What you are probably referring to was a statement made last summer that the ability to manage callings and HT/VT would be added to LCR in "late fall 2014", but that date was later changed to be "first quarter 2015". So those specific additional features should be arriving in the next 2 months or so.

However, there will be plenty of membership features that still won't be on LCR even with that release, and the finance features are well into the future.

Yeah I guess I did misunderstand that letter. Too bad. It sure would be nice to be able to do the organization and callings work from LCR. It would also be nice to be able to get to the HT/VT report numbers to do the quarterly report.

Has anybody heard any specifics on when exactly we will get the updated capabilities on LCR? I know we were told the 1st quarter of 2015, but that window is closing quickly.

We're rarely told of a precise time. The software deploys when it's ready, not when a deadline is reached.

We're only 2/3 of the way though the quarter, so I wouldn't say it's "closing quickly" yet. And that's assuming it's not delayed again.
