Re: Churchwide newsletter
I received the e-mail. I went to my LDS Account/Email Subscriptions page to check my settings. I noticed there was a caution icon (yellow triangle with exclamation point) to the left of Email Subscriptions in the Profile Information column. There was not an e-mail account selected for "Send Subscriptions To:". So evidently the LDS Account subscriptions section has been changed and those like me who have not been to their account profile page in a while probably should go there and update their profile.
Interestingly, even though I did not have an e-mail address associated with subscriptions and "Inspiration and News" was not checked in Email Subscriptions, I did get the message.

No sign of the newsletter in my email account. I've checked the spam folder.

I just saw exactly the same thing but got the message as well.jdlessley wrote:I received the e-mail. I went to my LDS Account/Email Subscriptions page to check my settings. Re: Churchwide newsletter
Still nothing. But what I did get was a newsletter from "lds.net". It is not a church-owned site, but they've just now cranked up a newsletter of their own. I've registered with them in the past, so that explains why I got it. But the timing caught me off-guard - I thought it was the expected newsletter from the church.russellhltn wrote:No sign of the newsletter in my email account. I've checked the spam folder.
I'm curious as to what domain the folks who did get the newsletter were using? I'm set up with a gmail account.

Mine is with Yahoo and Gmail. Yahoo is my primary, the one through which the message was received, and the secondary is Gmail.

I use gmail and I received the newsletter. I do use my own spam filter so I have the gmail spam filter turned off.russellhltn wrote:I'm curious as to what domain the folks who did get the newsletter were using? I'm set up with a gmail account.

Re: Churchwide newsletter
I use a gmail account as well. The newsletter email did go into my Promotional section of gmail, so I didn't see it at first. But it did arrive on December 3.russellhltn wrote:I'm curious as to what domain the folks who did get the newsletter were using? I'm set up with a gmail account.

Re: Churchwide newsletter
Was everyone with an LDS Account email supposed to get this (I didn't), or did they not send to everyone? I have checked spam and promotional and everywhere else looking. I have a gmail address.

I thought it was to go to everyone. I haven't gotten mine yet either. I've checked every email address registered and all the folders including spam - nada.lajackson wrote:Was everyone with an LDS Account email supposed to get this (I didn't), or did they not send to everyone? Re: Churchwide newsletter
I just got one today: Remembering and Resolutions and President Eyring Calls for a "Renaissance of Marriage".
It came to my expected email account. It did get stuck in gmail's "Promotions" category, so it wasn't obvious at first. But double-checking, I don't think I got the first one.
