Recreating Disciplinary Record

A new member moved into our stake who has a disciplinary action on record but the record does't have any detail. The previous stake was contacted and they didn't keep the notes for the council nor did they submit any notes when the member was disciplined.
I can't find any direction on what to do next. Ideas? Thanks.

Contact confidential records at CHQ.

Did you request the diciplinary council report using Leader and Clerk Resources? That should provide your stake president with the report that has to be filled in order for the action to be recorded. I really doubt the office of the First Presidency would record an action without some information on why the action was taken.

Since there is a function in the LCR, I withdraw my suggestion to contact Confidential Records directly.

IIRC, once a disciplinary council is held and information sent to CHQ, all local copies are destroyed. So it's no surprise that the former stake has no record.

All the pieces are here. First use LCR to try and retrieve the report. If that is not successful, call Confidential Records for assistance.
