Adding Assistant Clerk to Tithing Transmit

Hi,

We have 2 assistant clerks both of which have been cross trained in membership and financial. The challenge is neither of them are able to submit tithing since they cant enter their user id/pw only my credentials as ward clerk are listed along with bishop, 1st coun, 2nd coun, and executive sec.

I found this -

which indicates only "set" callings should be appearing in the list but they do not show up for us and there is no ability to "add" a person/calling.

How can we get the system to be able to have financial/assistant clerks submit tithing?

What callings are in MLS for the assistant clerks?

Our ward uses the "Ward Assistant Clerk" for the assistant clerks and they haven't had any of these issues.

Make sure they are standard positions and not custom positions.
Have you searched the Wiki?

The challenge is I can only try to see if I have fixed this issue once a week during tithing. I have gone through our users and deleted who I could (which wasnt many) but have no idea whats a custom user vs a standard position. Is there a way to "reset" or "restore" default callings in the system? Its impossible to add users to the batch donation page and the only 5 callings on the list are noted above. Pretty frustrating to have assistant clerks and not be able to have them help with tithing.

I'd suggest you use the Custom Position Review tool.

There's a difference between creating MLS users, and assigning callings/positions. A clerk needs to 1) have an MLS account set up, and 2) be assigned to the appropriate calling under Organizations > Bishopric.

Note that MLS user names should reflect the member, not their role. As such, there are no "standard users".
