Besides the MLS message Russell suggested, the ward does get a popup that tells them they must do a Send/Receive to update information so that the quarterly report can be completed. For others, making them speak in stake priesthood meeting three times in a row is not enough of a reminder.
And in their defense, it is usually not the clerk that is holding up the show.
