Length of Stake History
So I have noticed that each year my stake history gets longer and longer (mostly due to ward histories getting longer and longer). This last one was almost 300 pages for the stake and 12 units. Just curious to hear about others' experiences.

Re: Length of Stake History
I wish I had that problem...not that it IS a problem. I beg and whine throughout the year and doubt I've sent more than 100 pages for the stake history in a given year (coming up on 9 years as stake clerk). I even get the stake president to make a pitch in 2nd and 4th quarter stake council meetings and there are still stake auxiliaries that apparently have nothing to report.

Re: Length of Stake History
I had a fairly large stack of paper, which I put into a USPS priority shipping box. The biggest contribution was from one of our rural units that had upgraded from branch to ward status and had its meetinghouse remodeled. The clerk was old-school, meaning he still kept detailed minutes of Sacrament meeting and other meetings, which he sent to me.
