Bulletin Entries

Hi everyone,

I have been doing the bulletin for a few years and love it a lot. I am always on the search for new entries for the bulletin in our ward. My bulletin is a tri-fold. I try to include uplifting, refreshing and possibly unusual items in the bulletin. I have included word searches, word scramble and crosswords for the youth and adults. For the kids I have included coloring and dot-to-dot. I have purchased LDS clip-art cd's online, some are comical and some are not and I have used a lot of what is on the cd's. I also include sections for the Youth, Primary, Relief Society and Home & Visiting Teaching.

If you would like to see an example of my bulletin just leave a message. I am more than willing to share.

I am writing this post in hopes that someone can offer something new that I haven't already tried to include in my bulletin.

Do you have any suggestions? Have you seen something in your bulletin that you thought was original and you enjoyed it a lot?

I'd like to hear from you all!

Thanks in advance!

Rosemary

Welcome to the Forum. Here is a previous thread that has some attached bulletins. I would encourage you to post your sample (taking out the sensitive information, of course).

I do a trifold as well....in MS publisher.

Here are some of the sections that I have:

- Ward House Cleaning schedule for the next 3 weeks
- upcoming birthdays
- next weeks lessons for Gospel Doctrine, gospel essentials, priesthood, and RS. In addition, I include the primary assignments for next week (talk, motto, scripture, prayer, article of faith, etc.)
- Missionary Thought/Message from the ward mission leader
- Project Noah - Food storage/72 hour kit buying guide for the week
- Classroom assignments for all auxilaries for 2nd and 3rd hour - we are a ward in a coastal area so we get lots of visitors and they find this very useful
- Leadership diirectory - Bishopric and all auxilary leaders. Missionaries, Stake Presidency, nearby temples, bishops office, foyer, and all FH libraries. Note: we no longer have a printed stake directory so this is very useful
- New member move-in form since we are a college town and lots of people and families come and go (a place to fill out all the information that a ward clerk would need so that you can just rip it off and give it to a member of the bisopric)
- all the other normal stuff....missionary addresses, announcements, calendar, sacrament meeting agenda, etc.

@alisont38,

Welcome to the forum.

This thread is more than a year and a half old. It is unlikely you will get a response. Try sending a PM to your target poster. If they are still active in the forums they may see that before they would view a resurrected thread.

Also try doing a search for other threads with ward bulletin attachments. There are some others but only Bulletins in MS Word Format is less than a few months old.
