Staples Eway and Canadian Units

Staples Eway and Canadian Units

I tried a quick search of the forums but was not able to find any answers. We are in Canada and I have been trying to access Staples Eway ordering and when I login using the supplied account for our unit I get a
"EWay Sign In error
Sorry, the information we received is invalid"

Is this an issue for Canadian units? Is there a workaround for this issue? IF we are not able to use Staples Eway should I continue to try to get toner and other office supplies from staples?

If Canadian access to Staples Eway is the same as in the US then Staples Eway is not a direct sign in for the Church using Staples website or the Staples Eway site. Instead you must go to the online store (store.lds.org) and sign in. If you have a calling with rights to purchase using the ward account then you can continue to the Staples Eway store by clicking the "Unit Materials" link and then clicking the "CLICK HERE TO PLACE ORDER ONLINE" link on the lower right of the page that takes you to the Staples Eway store.

Having the same problem. As per the directions I got from our sales rep in Calgary, I have tried going directly to the http://www.eway.ca site (I believe LDS.org sends us to eway.com which won't let us log in). However, I can't do anything on the eway.ca site as no matter what I do I get sent to an error page (can't log in, do any searches, etc). I have emailed the rep to see if she knows what's going on. If anyone else has a solution, please let me know!

If you are speaking of a Staples sales rep, then she may not be aware of the process the Church has established with Staples for Church unit orders.

The LDS.org online store does take you to Eway to place the order. But there is an additional layer of processing that is bypassed when you go directly to the eway.com site. The link provided at the LDS.org online store is routed through the Church system to place the order using the Church's corporate account so that the order can be paid through the Church's finance department and properly debited to the unit placing the order.

Your best course of action is to work through the Church rather than with Staples sales reps. Use the LDS Distribution Services telephone number found on the LDS.org online store site after clicking the "Unit Materials" link to talk to a Distribution Services employee. You may be directed to contact LUS for access related issues.

Did you ever find a solution to this problem? or did you go out and just buy what you needed directly from the store?
