Hymn sign numbers

Post by JaredMonson »

Does anyone know where I should order new numbers for our chapels Hymn signboard? They appear to be standard size when comparing them to other chapels. Any help would be appreciated.

The FM Group is responsible for maintaining the meeting house. The hymn number cards are part of the furnishings for which they are responsible. Contact your physical facilities representative to contact the FM office to order replacements.

It's simpler than that. They are right on store.lds.org:

http://store.lds.org/webapp/wcs/stores/ ... -1__196441

They are called 'song numbers' and are sold as a set as shown. Made of common cardboard, they will last some time but yes they do eventually wear out. Can be done through a unit order through the store website when you order them either alone or with any other materials you may need to get at the time.

Maybe it is very easy to print the hymn numbers on a sheet of paper andattach it at the rack for the hymn numbers.

You also can make the number cards by yourself by printing the numbers andask the RS members to cut it in the right size.

I found this after I searched the internet and is is almost similar to theoriginal numbers.

It is easy to download and to install.

Thanks for posting this, our hymn numbers have definitely seen better days and we just haven't ever gotten around to ordering a new set. I hadn't even thought to see if it was available on the 'store' website!

The new song numbers are shorter than the older ones. They don't fit inside the old Hymn board.

I have the same problem! The new number cards keep falling out. The Church doesn't sell hymn boards in their online store, just the numbers. Any ideas?

Speak to your high councilor with facilities responsibilities. He can contact the FM Group who has the responsibility for maintaining the building. The number board may fall under their responsibility.

As a workaround, you could try getting some sturdy plastic sheets and cutting them into rectangles so they fit onto each row of the hymn board (one rectangle per row) to hold the numbers in.
