Quarterly report datasets

#1

Post by chamb606 »

I'm wanting to do some trend analysis of the data collected in the quarterly report for our District (I'm the district clerk). Is the data presented on LCR under the quarterly report available digitally so I can import it into Excel so I can generate custom graphs. I'm wanting the data from the last 10 years. I understand that this may present privacy and IP (intellectual property) issues.
If this isn't possible does someone have any other ideas so I don't have to spend hours transcribing the data into Excel.

I tend to doubt if it goes back that far. Even if it did, I'd be very careful in the interpretation of it. For example, HT/VT stats isn't about grading the teachers, but how well the member's needs have been met. As a result, as members move in/out, the stats for prior quarters will change based on each family's(sister's) visit record.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

Actually, quarterly report data is static and doesn't change. It's the HT/VT statistics page where it changes based on membership changes. The quarterly report data is entered manually so there is no way the system can tie it to specific membership changes.

The Key Indicator report on LCR already graphs most of the values from the quarterly report but it only goes back 4 years. But I'm not sure you're going to get much more unless you have paper records that go back further.
