How do you remove a root directory MLS folder when you want to reinstall MLS in a clerk's computer

I have been trying to reinstall MLS in a clerk's computer and I was told that I have to uninstall and remove the MLS folder on root directory. How do I remover the MLS folder from a root directory.

What instructions are you following? The only MLS-related root folder I'm aware of is c:\data-backup. I don't think wiping out your backups is a good idea.

It's under C:\Program Files (x86)\LDS Church\MLS (64-bit machine) or
C:\Program Files\LDS Church\MLS (32-bit machine).

Actually, it's OK to blow away the LDS Church folder and everything that's under it. Make sure you do a backup before you blow anything away. You'll need it to restore your data. After you download and reinstall MLS, you'll have to call SLC and ask them to clear the security token so you can do "Send/Receive Changes".

I don't let the ward clerks in my stake store backups in C:\data-backup. I tell them to use an external USB flash drive.
