ChromeBase computers?

There are so many issues with slow computers for clerks and Family History Centers. With everything going on the web now, wouldn't a ChromeBase make more sense?
They're virtually maintenance free. No need to worry about viruses, monitoring installed programs, firewalls, etc. All the ward would need is a ward Google account and they could even use the free Google Apps for spreadsheets and word documents. Since it runs Chrome OS, you don't have to worry about people randomly installing unauthorized programs so it should run smooth for a lot longer than regular windows boxes.
