Leaving the clerk computer on 24x7

Postby RinTinTin » Sun Oct 28, 2012 7:28 pm

Our executive secretary has a software on the clerk office computer so he can access the computer from his home. Is this acceptable? It is left on 24x7.

No. Remote access of clerk computers is contrary to policy. See this post.

Remote Access

It would seem reasonable that we could access the computer remotely, although I am certain that comes with all sorts of the usual access issue.

With that in mind, the ability to manage Home Teaching from a web app - even a Droid or other app would be extremely useful.

This has been discussed in countless threads. Rather than fork this thread, please post to one of those threads or start a new thread.
