Request and Send Membership Records via lds.org online

Is it possible to send and request membership records via lds.org online. I am the ward clerk/membership clerk and travel during the week and often receive emails from our bishop asking me to either request a record or to send a record. It would be great to be able to do this remotely via lds.org so the records would arrive in a more timely fashion than waiting for me to get back in town to go into the clerk's office to do this onsite.

It's not currently possible to do this. Requesting membership records will clearly be available at some time in the future (but no delivery date has been mentioned). See
What tools and resources are currently available?, where it says that "In the future, clerks will have the ability to generate and update membership and financial information online. "
