I know this is not the correct forum but I’m hoping someone can point me in the right direction.
I am the membership clerk in the St.George Utah 2nd ward and we have recently found some memberships that have been created twice.
They were done as child of record and have been done as both male and female.
My question is how do I delete the record for the member that is inaccurate.
Thank you in advance for any help or direction.

Re: Duplicate Records
I split off the topic, since it was different.
I know in MLS there is (was) a function to delete records. For the reason, you'd indicate duplicate. That function may be in LCR now.
But first, make sure there are actually duplicate records and not just duplicate entries for children on the parent's records. If the link is a hyperlink, it's a record. If it's not a hyperlink, then it's just "information" and not a duplicate membership record.

Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

Re: Duplicate Records
If you do indeed have duplicate records use the Membership > Merge Duplicate Records option from the menu in LCR.
