How to record deployed members?

How to record deployed members?
I am the clerk for a ward with mostly military members. Is there a way to record/indicate on members records that they are deployed? It is hard for the Elders quorum and Relief Society to keep track particularly when they themselves are deploying and moving so often. Thanks.

I don't believe there is any way to do that.
In MLS, you can have custom fields and military status could be a custom field, but that will not transfer to LCR. That would allow you to run a custom MLS report and list everyone without affecting HT/VT assignments, etc., but you would not be able to see that online.
